IRIS AZUL O’CONNOR


Iris Azul Enrique O’Connor is an Irish-Mexican multidisciplinary artist, designer, filmmaker, and producer born and raised in San Francisco, California. She is currently studying at NYU’s Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, with a double minor in Interactive Media Art and the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology.  


She’s interested in work that centers the intersection of art, design, technology, and film -- And how this content is strategically used to promote socially impactful messages.  She grew in San Francisco with a hint of New York in her high school years, with an early life rooted in sports which has strongly developed her sense of pride, community, work ethic, and culture. Her Irish and Mexican Heritage influence many of her creative endeavors and her desire to take inspiration from history, family, and cultural tradition.
